Sunrise is proud to announce our new partnership with the Jr. NBA. Jr. NBA Leagues are the official recreational basketball leagues of the NBA and WNBA, which allow every youth athlete to develop fundamental basketball skills and learn the core values of the game in a fun, positive and inclusive environment. Players will receive a Sacramento Kings Jr. NBA Jersey with registration. Practice for the first week will be at your child's school after dismissal unless informed by coach or league coordinator. Specific practice times vary by location and are determined by each school's dismissal time and/or coach’s availability. Practice schedules for the entire season will be determined based on coach and facility availability. Practice schedules will be distributed at the end of the first week of practice. Your child's coach will verify the game schedule once all teams are finalized.
**Families that register prior to the league start date will receive an email update with league details (practice times, coach information, etc.) the week before the league starts.**
**Practices for any site could be anytime M-F from right after school until 7 pm. There will be (2) 1 hour practices a week within that time frame. Practice times/days vary from site to site and typically will not be finalized until the end of the first week. Games will be primarily on Saturday mornings/early afternoons, with the possibility of a Friday evening game. Your child does not have to attend one of the school sites listed to play for that school.**
